I took the twins along with a few of their friends last year to Filoli’s Daffodil Daydreams floral show, and it was one memorable and utterly surreal experience. To see more than half a million daffodils in bloom all at once? As you can imagine, it looked like a page out of a magical fairytale storybook.
What makes this early springtime show so spectacular is that along with thousands and thousands of daffodils, visitors to Filoli Gardens also get to see gorgeous flowering cherry blossom trees, dogwoods, magnolias and more flowering trees all in bloom at the same time in one spectacular landscape.
In addition to daffodils, visitors get a dazzling flower show of spring blooming flowers such as tulips, hyacinths, pansies, camellias, rhododendrons, and more.
It’s a sensory overload. One can’t help but take pictures, pictures, and more pictures, probably way too many pictures. That’s the beauty of nature. Makes us all happy and makes us want to preserve these special moments.

Filoli Gardens Daffodil Dreams floral show starts February 24th and continues on for a month for as long as the spring flowers are in bloom.

Doll baby , indeed a magnificent capture of Nature at its best . Daffodils always look lovely in groups and to think that a bunch only costs $ 1.99 at the store ..William Wordsworth’s Golden Daffodils always fascinate me because they add Auspicious Color to any Garden . However , the Cherry Blossoms you mention are not from Japan as they bloom only in Cold winters . Washington dc celebrates Cherry Blossom Festival in April and once they bloom they only last for a week . This Double pink shaded Cherry Blossoms may be the Korean variety … They are equally beautiful . ;

Such beautiful photos! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! I hope to visit Filoli this Spring when it’s at its blooming peak – Dave and I made it last year towards the end of the season and though it was still beautiful, most of the blooms were spent and the landscape not nearly as spectacular.
