It’s December 1st! You know what that means? It’s the holiday season!!!  Christmas Eve, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s Eve, New Year, holiday parties, Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas presents, Santa Claus, family gatherings, red, green, gold, silver, and everything shimmering and bright. This is what the holidays conjure up for me, and I absolutely love it. Love, love, love December!

It’s as if we stuff an entire year’s worth of festivities, presents, get togethers, baking and gourmet cooking all into one month – December!  It’s exhausting, tiring, and FUN.

The best part of the holidays? Christmas presents! I wait all year to wrap presents to my hearts content. I love wrapping presents, and at this time of year I get a chance to wrap, wrap, wrap, and wrap gifts for everyone I know, from teachers, to neighbors, friends and family. I love it!

Some folks frown upon all the glitter on holiday wrapping papers and ribbons as the glitter gets stuck on our hands, our hair, our clothes, and all over the floor.  Me? Glitter me all you want wrapping papers and ribbons, I won’t complain 🤗.
