A cocktail with the dreamy fragrance and color of roses? All made with roses from the garden? This is one gorgeous cocktail that looks as beautiful as it tastes. I tell you folks, it is amazing how the fragrance of roses comes through in this cocktail! For this cocktail to work fragrant pink roses have to be used, and what is more fragrant than old-fashioned style David Austin English Roses? That’s what I used in my rose cocktail – a combination of light pink and dark pink fragrant David Austin English roses. The end result is something positively ethereal. A lovely rose colored cocktail with the fragrance of roses in every sip 🌹🍷.

Once stored in the refrigerator the color of the rose vodka will change to a dark brown. However when lemon juice is added the liquid turns into a beautiful pink color! It’s the lemon juice that brings out that dreamy mauve color in the cocktail.

To make the spritzer combine rose vodka with lemon juice, simple syrup, and sparkling mineral water. Top with a rose petal and you have a deliciously refreshing all-natural rose-flavored cocktail 🌹🍹.
