October in the Garden

Fall has begun in October! Leaves, leaves and more leaves are changing color and falling in slow motion in my garden.

Nothing like beautiful fall leaves in red, peach and gold.  These photos were taken by my daughter Anjali.

Our strawberry tree is doing stupendous this year. Dripping with hundreds of fruit, this bush is thriving.  I love how beautiful these little strawberry fruit look. They start off a golden yellow and turn a ruby red.  Absolutely gorgeous.

The fruit are sweet as ever this year.

Dahlias are still blooming away! I just can’t believe it!

Such amazing color on these decadent dahlias!

Dahlia bouquets to enjoy indoors.

These veggies are the last harvest of the season.

Drying herbs for winter soups and stews.

Begonias, geraniums, nasturtiums and cyclamen blooming in our cool fall weather.

Made a few cuttings of succulents to give as party favors at our upcoming Diwali party.

Did some major cleanup in the garden. Removed a bunch of tea tree bushes and giant grasses that were crowding my olive trees. I can now see the gnarly gorgeous trunks of these beautiful olive trees.

Did I mention that we are swimming in fallen fall leaves? Check these pics out 🍂🍁🍂  Crunch, crunch, crunch. I know when anyone is coming to my front door, I hear them loud and clear. Crunch crunch crunch 🍁🍂🍁..

Hope you had an outstanding October.  🍂🍁
Looking forward to a magnificient November!  🎃🐓
