Hello! Happy Weekend! Today, I am so excited to share with you my daughter Rani’s runway collection at the 40th Annual Cornell Fashion Runway Show! 💃🏻

Huge event at Cornell!

We had no idea what to expect at this event last weekend in Ithaca, as Rani had played down this so much that we were expecting a show of around 200 people in the audience.

We were in awe and total surprise to see more than a thousand people in the audience – more than fifteen hundred!! This was a massive event!

An Opportunity for Fashion Design Students to Showcase their Talents

For the 40th year the Cornell Fashion Collective Spring Runway Show has provided a stage for students at the university to showcase their fashion talents. This year’s designers were exceptional! The talent displayed was phenomenal!

Rani Sheth “Intertwined” 🌿

Getting a fashion design minor Rani has been participating in the annual event for three years. This year her fourth year as a senior she had the opportunity to showcase not just one or two pieces, but an entire collection featuring up to six original designs.

“This collection is inspired by vines that are changing in color. When the light hits them or when they experience seasonal changes, a hint of gold transforms them into touches of shimmer. To mimic the look of twisted vines, I incorporated braids throughout all my pieces.”
