Friday Flowers. May in the Garden 2024

Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. Today I wanted to share with you pics of my garden in May. It was spectacular! Flowers flowers everywhere!

Marvelous May in the garden

Our weather in April and May was so awesome! Folks, temps were in the 60s and 70s, lots of sunshine, cool breeze – no wonder the garden went crazy! Flowers started blooming and putting on a spectacular show! Here is a look at flora in the garden in May.

Mums, Pineapple Guava Blossoms and bougainvillea

Bearded Iris

What I love about the bearded iris is its stately demeanor. Fine blade like leaves with long flower stalks. They make excellent landscape plants, are low maintenance, require little water, bloom in spring and then the rest of the year you get this lovely clump of clean blade like leaves.

Roses roses roses!

Roses were the star of May this year! With all the winter rains we had roses just loved it! They were blooming like gangbusters. I just don’t even know how to share here all the colorful bonanza of this beautiful flower!
