Valentine’s Weekend in San Francisco

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? I hope it was relaxing.  For us since the girls were home on break from school last week we headed to San Francisco for the weekend.

Sunny San Francisco on Valentine’s Weekend

The city was spectacular on this February weekend. With warm temps in the 60s and sunny blue skies, San Francisco couldn’t have been any more gorgeous!!!  Here is a look at some pics of our lovely weekend in beautiful San Francisco.

I’ve come to San Francisco hundreds of times but the city still amazes me with its beauty! It never gets old, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay, the City skyline.  San Francisco is beauty personified.

Bay watching by the City

Watching the Bay is always a treat for me.  I love watching the sailboats, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, the city skyline, the beautiful blue ocean, and sea lions and sea otters too!

Crab fishing at Fort Baker

Fort Baker Pier near the Golden Gate Bridge is a popular spot for crab fishing. But there are a few rules fisherman are asked to follow – only 2 crabs are allowed per cage. And the crabs caught have to be at least 4 inches in width.  Here is a video of a crab that got caught and latched onto to the cage for dear life! He was one stubborn crab fish!!  Poor guy knew if he let go he was food for humans 😞😢.  Take a look at the video!!

Tea at the Zen Center

A warm cup of tea somehow feels extra special when sitting outside surrounded by redwoods. We had a bowl of fresh fruit and sorbet that was so pretty and delicious!  What a simple dessert with such beauty.  We could surely replicate this at home for dessert?
