Checking out local markets are a fun way to come back home with unusual finds from a trip. In Lisbon there are many to choose from, open on different days of the week. The Santa Clara flea market is what we checked out on a sunny Saturday morning.

Selling both new items and antiques, and flea market finds, this market has something for everyone. The added bonus is the beautiful scenery at this market that is open on Saturdays.

Decorative tiles are a huge part of Portuguese culture. You can see them on buildings, in restaurants, being sold at boutiques, and flea markets. I bought a couple from the market here.
