It’s Valentine’s week and its been a fun week of flowers, food, family and friends. I’ve been celebrating Valentine’s Day in many ways by planning a special dinner with the twins for V-Day with the family; I’ve also been meeting with friends over tea and brunch, while delivering flowers to others.
Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the unique love and bond that exists not only with family but with friends as well 💕. It’s with this sentiment that my friends Joji and Rose hosted a Galentine’s brunch for their girlfriends. Think Valentine’s Day celebration with girlfriends.
Celebrating Galentine’s Day
There is a special bond that girlfriends have, maybe its because we’ve known them for a long time or maybe because we bond over similar interests, and though we may not see each other often, the conversations are always heartfelt and genuine. Each of us brought an item to share making it a festive, eclectic and delicious meal. The saying “Many hands make light work.” holds true here and I should add, “Many cooks make delicious food.” Every dish was scrumptious!
