Hello and Happy Saturday! How was your week? Good? Ready for a relaxing weekend? Today I’d like to share pics from my spring garden. An unusual spring garden as it has both spring and summer flowers in bloom, that’s right! Take a look.
Hot hot spring this year
We had unseasonably hot temperatures this spring. Unlike the East Coast where it was below freezing, we had above normal heat, we are talking 80s and even 90s! These are full on peak summer heat in February and March! Because of these warm temps my spring flowers kinda just didn’t bloom or had a very short bloom cycle. Just a week or two of spring flower enjoyment. Here is a look at spring flowers I’ve enjoyed briefly.

Summer flowers in March
The crazy heat we’ve been having encouraged my summer flowering roses to bloom early. I have never had roses bloom in March – never!

Geraniums, calla lily, and bearded iris putting on an early show

That’s a look at what’s been blooming in my garden the last three months. Have a fabulous weekend! Happy Spring!

Such beautiful blooms! Is the featured rose image a mad Gallica?
Hi Dorothy actually the rose bush with hundreds of pink striped blooms is a hybrid climbing rose called Berries n Cream 💕
Stunning as usual
