When I’m in one of my lazy salad moods, even making a salad with a simple vinaigrette seems like a lot of work. At these times, I toss together a salad that requires just a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar, salt & pepper – and that’s it.
Simple Salad
Ingredients:
- 4-6 cups spring greens salad mix or any salad mix of your choice
- 1 tomato chopped
- Some onions finely cut- just a hand full
- Bell peppers – how much ever you like
- Avocado if you have
- A few parmesan shavings
- Salt and pepper
- 2 -3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar. For this simple salad to taste delicious it helps to have good quality balsamic vinegar.
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Directions:
In a big salad bowl toss together all the vegetables.
When ready to serve salad, drizzle balsamic vinegar and olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper, add Parmesan shavings, and toss together.
Salad is ready. You will be surprised how delicious this salad will taste.

Ofcourse a vinaigrette has a delicious taste onto it’s own, but for those times when you feel lazy and don’t want to bother making a vinaigrette dressing, try this simple tossed salad.

So simple yet delicious. Made it and loved it.
Thanks
