Yoga, Art, Paris. A Mother Daughter Parisian Holiday 💐

Bonjour! J’espère que tu as passé un bon weekend.  Hello everybody! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a relaxing 4th of July week.  I had an amazing 4th of July week.  My daughter Sri and I spent it in beautiful Paris! A one week holiday in Paris to see beautiful art and practice yoga. Art Institute of Chicago & The Thorne Miniature Rooms Gallery

The Art Institute of Chicago is a world-renowned art museum and a “must see” in the Chicago visitor’s guide, so naturally when we visited Chicago we had to check it out.  Like any renowned art museum this one in Chicago is extensive and huge. One can easily spend a few days exploring this giant museum.

A Visit To A Music Store – Kamimoto Strings in San Jose, California

One of my twins Rani takes cello lessons and she informed me a few weeks ago that she is ready for an adult or rather a big cello instrument. “What’s wrong with the one you have? I asked her. It looked pretty big to me already.

And Rani in her ultimate wisdom informs me, “Mom, I am 15 now, not a little kid anymore, the one I have is from Middle School, I’m in High School now and it’s time for me to get a big cello.”  This was my reaction 😢😢.  My little twins were growing up.

Bouquets to Art 2017 at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, California

Last April, I went to de Young Museum’s Bouquets to Art exhibition in San Francisco, California, and what a spectacular show it was! It truly was like nothing I had ever seen before. Floral arrangements that mimic artwork at the de Yong Museum’s permanent collection?  What a novel idea and positively amazing!
