Dinner and Candles with Parag and Pallavi & Evening of Hors d’Oeuvres with Sheila and Mark

Hello and happy new week! I hope you had a good weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead! Our weekend was nice and relaxing with casual dinners with friends, a chance to catch up and talk for hours 🥰.

Friday night dinner. Pastaria Market with Parag and Pallavi

Friday night we had a fabulous time with old friends Parag and Pallavi when we met for dinner at Italian restaurant Pastaria Market in Los Gatos, CA.

Wine, pasta, salad, garlic bread, tiramisu – old friends and laughter – the perfect formula for a good time ❤️! Both Parag and I also turned a big milestone birthday this year, and we got to blow out two candles 🎂🎂.

Saturday night hors d’oeuvres and drinks at Sheila and Mark’s place

Sheila and I have been trying to get together with our husbands for months and months. We finally picked a date almost two months ago, and the day arrived last Saturday when the four of us got to meetup and hangout for the first time together 💙.

Sheila had a wonderful spread of appetizers laid out in her garden. Definitely a fabulous menu worth replicating that I’m going to try out.

Sheila wanted to have us over for dinner, but I suggested we keep it more low key with appetizers and drinks. We should have just done dinner LOL because we hung out for more than four hours from 5pm onwards! Next time it will be dinner together ❤️💙😀.

Shell collector 🐚🐚

I learnt something new about my friend Sheila. She’s a shell collector. She collects shells from all over the world. Has them displayed in cases with labels and all. Such a unique presentation! She even designed AND made this beautiful shell mirror!
