Happy Friday! I hope you are having a good week!
Today I would like to share a few photos I took of flowers that are still blooming and brightening up my December garden. Despite the dip in temperatures and all the stormy rain we have had recently my little kitchen patio is looking lovely as ever.
Plants and flowers always shine in this little nook no matter the season. I am convinced its because it is sheltered from the elements making it cool in the summer and protected in the cold of winter. In chilly December this week my impatiens, fuchsias, geraniums and cyclamen are looking beautiful as ever.
This darling orange miniature rose I got as a present for Thanksgiving and is doing so well outdoors despite the cold and rainy weather we have been having lately.
Holy basil gifted by another friend is also thriving here 😊.
Lastly wanted to share these pictures of a frustrating yet cute little squirrel that was hanging out on our front balcony after the rains subsided and the sun came out.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Beautiful flowers. It is too cold where I live for outdoor flowers. 😀
Thank you. Truly fortunate to be living in an area where our temperatures are mild most of the year making it a gardeners paradise!
The cyclamen are impressive. Ours might have looked this good two weeks ago too. They are quite moldy now.
Cyclamens do really well where I am. They put on a long winter flower show for me which I love!
They get better exposure there. The best that I grew were in the Santa Clara Valley, where they dried out between storms.
