June the season of gladiolas and lilies

June is when my lilies and gladiolas start blooming. Over the years my lilies have multiplied and so too have some of my gladiola bulbs. Enough blooms to enjoy in the garden and some to bring indoors.

Gladiolas come in the most unique color combinations!

Surprisingly gladiolas are actually easy to grow. Purchase the bulbs in the spring and plant them right away for a bloom show in the summer. They like full sun and regular watering. It’s that easy to grow gladiolas!
