We headed to Sonoma wine country last week for a couple of days and it was absolutely beautiful. Quiet, calm and peaceful with amazing weather, surrounded by the beauty of wine country. A perfect two days in Sonoma.

Though the vines haven’t leafed out yet wine country has its own unique charm in early spring.

March is calm in wine country. The crowds are non existent, the wineries are quiet, and everyone is extra friendly encouraging you to stick around and relax – what a novel concept ❤️. We had a special dinner the first night we arrived and did wine tasting the next day. The perfect two days to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy the beauty of wine country.

We tried two new wineries on this trip. Lambert Bridge and Devero, both located off scenic Dry Creek Road. I could drive on forever on this charming wine country road.

Davero Farms Winery and Olive Tasting
We picked this winery to stop at on Dry Creek Road on a whim, as their sign offering olive oil tasting grabbed my attention. Davero does both wine tasting and olive tasting in their outdoor patio area. Relaxing with wine, olive oil and crackers out in nature – recipe for a perfect spring afternoon.

The veggie garden and olive grove at Davero Winery

The perfect two days in Sonoma Wine Country. Check it out in early spring before the crowds start arriving, and enjoy the quiet charm of this beautiful region.
