Hello and happy new week! I hope you had a relaxing weekend and are ready for the week ahead. This week I’d like to share with you pictures of glorious gardens that I toured as part of Gamble Garden’s Spring Tour 2025.

The cottage style garden at Gamble Garden
Starting off today with the cottage garden at Gamble Garden and the flowers and fauna we saw walking around Old Palo Alto. Lots of flowers, and all things pretty coming your way this week.

Daughter, Good friend, flowers, and fauna 💕 🌺🪴
I went with my eldest daughter Sri on Friday and dear friend Shalini on Saturday on day two of the Gamble Garden Spring Tour on two beautiful cool Spring days.

I could see even before we got started on touring the home gardens on Saturday that Shalini was much distracted by the beauty of Gamble Garden itself 😁.

Originally from England, Shalini was admiring nostalgically the English cottage style garden at Gamble Garden.

Strolling Old Palo Alto with it’s myriad front yard gardens
Sri, Shalini and I walked to all the home gardens on the Spring Garden Tour. Some were a few blocks away while others were over a mile away. What made our walk so enjoyable and memorable were the front yard gardens we walked past in the neighborhood. Each one unique and different, they were truly a treat for the eyes 🌺. Here is a look at the charming home gardens we strolled by.
The clematis garden
Check out the massive clematis trailing on the fence in this charming front yard!

The carpet rose, lavender and iris garden

The succulent and ornamental grasses garden

The rose charmer

The ultimate cottage garden delight
This home was truly out of a fairytale book. In fact many people walking by were admiring this front yard and taking lots of photos. It was oozing cottage garden charm.

The foxglove garden
This mansion was softened by beautiful tall foxgloves bobbing in the front yard.

Ornamental grasses and perennial garden

Curbside rose garden
This home was crazy! They had a spectacular show of roses on the curbside! A treat for walkers 🥰.

The most unique garden on our walk!!
Folks this front yard garden we stumbled upon was by far the most unique and eclectic garden we walked past.

This elderly lady was hand watering all her plants! My friend Shalini started chatting with her and while they were talking I was taking pictures 😁.

So many garden sculptures all made by the same local artist.

Old Palo Alto is really a treat for the gardening senses.
We saw all these gardens on the way to the actual gardens that were on the spring garden tour 😁!!

Happy New Week Everyone!
