Exploring Wine Country in Ashland, Oregon

Happy weekend everyone! Trust its going well and you are having a relaxing Sunday. Last Sunday had a relaxing time wine tasting in the small wine country region outside Ashland, Oregon.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival

We were in Ashland to watch a few plays over the July 4th weekend as part of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We watched a play a day and then filled the rest of the day with a leisurely drive and visit to wineries in the area.

Irvine and Roberts Vineyards and Tasting Room

A beautiful winery and vineyard this one was a treat to visit. A friendly staff, delicious wine, with views of the vineyards and hills beyond, Irvine and Roberts offers a relaxed wine tasting experience in a beautiful setting.

Dancin Winery

At Dancin you can go wine tasting and also have a delicious lunch. With a wide selection of California Pacific Northwest cuisine including salads and wood fired pizza, many folks who come to Dancin come for the food in addition to their fabulous wines.

Cowhorn Winery and Tasting Room

Cowhorn is known for their specialty pizzas in addition to their wines. Folks come here for the pizza and then add on a wine tasting experience. You can sit in their beautiful patio overlooking a babbling stream or sit inside with spectacular views of the vineyards outside. Definitely don’t skip the pizza, it’s delicious!

That’s a brief look at our wine tasting experience in Ashland, Oregon. If you’re heading to Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and are looking for a quick detour check out any of these wineries a mere 15 minutes from the town of Ashland.

Cheers! 🍷
