Hello and Happy Weekend! Wishing you a fabulous relaxing weekend ahead! Today I’d like to share pics from our trip to Dearborn, Michigan to attend our dear friend’s daughter’s wedding on Labor Day weekend in early September. A two day affaire with a pre wedding dance party, followed by beautiful wedding ceremony and reception the next day. A fun filled weekend of partying, dressing up, delicious food, and we even got to explore the Ford F-150 Truck Factory in Dearborn!

Ford Rouge Factory Tour
We had an entire day to explore Dearborn before the pre-wedding dance party on Friday night. Since Dearborn is the home of Henry Ford’s assembly plant we had to check out the Henry Ford Museum and do a factory tour.

We toured the factory where the F1-50 Trucks were assembled. And since it was a weekday tour, we were fortunate to see the assembly line where the crew were assembling the trucks! However no photos were allowed in the factory out of respect for the workers. So here I have a few pictures of the factory outside which is a massive factory complex that covers over 600 acres! A large complex with multiple buildings and over 15 million square feet of floor space for building and assembling cars.

Pics of the wedding festivities- the reason for our visit to Dearborn, Michigan
Here are a few pics of our friends who flew from California to Dearborn, Michigan to attend our good friends Nishma and Kamal’s daughter Sonali’s wedding.
