We started our Indian holiday in New Delhi, the capital city of India. A bustling metropolis where the old historic Delhi and the New Delhi of businesses and tech hubs coexist in a harmony of sights and sounds. Here we visited historic buildings such as Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar, and checked out the largest street market in Delhi – Chandni Chowk.

Today I’d like to share some pics of my day trip to Potsdam, Germany a town outside of Berlin. Potsdam is the town where Frederick the Great of Germany built his summer castle Sanssouci Palace. In addition to the palace the other sites to see in this town include the quaint Dutch downtown, and the historic Potsdam University.

Back in March Hitesh had a company event in Berlin, Germany and asked if I wanted to tag along. I’ve been to Berlin before and I’ve seen most of the historic sites there, but the thought of a few days away from the routine of home sounded like a nice respite in mid March. I went knowing that Berlin was going to be cold 🧤, it was still winter after all 🥶.

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a good week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend! I must admit I’ve been missing from blogging most of the this year until lately. It’s been a combination of things. I’ve been traveling the last few months, and when I’m home I’ve been lazy and have had no urge to do anything, not even exercise, which is not good 😞. Now with spring in full swing it feels like the start of a new year. I’ve got spring in my step and new found energy 😄! And that includes back to blogging about all things fun, beautiful and travel.
