Stopped by the farmer’s market this past weekend to be treated to a colorful smorgasbord of summer fruits and vegetables 🍓🍒🍑🍅🍆🌶.

Though I told myself not to take out my phone and start taking photos, I just couldn’t resist. Juicy peaches, nectarines, plums, strawberries, cherries and all sorts of colorful fresh vegetables. It was a fun outing on a glorious warm summer day with a cool breeze.

Today is special because it is my first grand child’s birthday . Also , my wonderful niece, Shobana’s birthday. I got to know Shobha intimately when she spent a couple of months with us in Md. My mom loved her a lot because she was always respectful to my mom . I also loved Shobha for her unpretentious nature and loving persona. I love the way she and Jai are bringing up their two boys ….
