Mango Frozen Yogurt

Nothing fancy, just good simple ingredients and you have a sweet and delicious dessert that anyone can enjoy when you get an ice cream craving.  Give it a try!

About the recipe

This is the perfect ice cream to make when mangoes have become too ripe to cut and serve. You know how sometimes the skin of fresh mango becomes shriveled and the flesh is so soft that the mango is more juicy and mushy making it hard to cut? These are perfect mangoes for a mango frozen yogurt.

All you do is combine soft mango pulp with Greek yogurt and honey to create this deliciously healthy frozen dessert.

    1. Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that you are allergic mangoes – that’s a new one fore me 😊. If you can believe it my daughter is allergic to raw carrots and apples! Thank you for stopping by.

      1. I do believe e it. My daughter is allergic to all tree fruits (apples, plums, peaches, cherries, etc. but not citrus), and she is also allergic to raw carrots. She can eat the cooked ones, but doesn’t care to for obvious reasons!

        1. I had no idea being allergic to carrots and stone fruit is a thing! My daughter has been telling me for years she is allergic but we didnt believe her for obvious reasons – who is allergic to carrots and apples and such? but then she complained to her doctor and we did an allergy test and it came back positive for all the stuff she was complaining about. Just like you said, cooked carrots are fine. I learn new things all the time 😀

          1. I had to laugh. Our daughter was 11 and we were coming back from the farm exposition and we had stopped at a farmstead and bought a bag of peaches. She ate one and immediately told me her mouth was itching and hurting. I thought I was simply a bad mother who hadn’t washed the fruit and assumed it was pesticide or something on the peach. The next day, she had the same reaction, so we had her tested, although in the back of my mind I found it hard to believe since she’d eaten peaches since she was a baby. Cooking changes the protein in many fruit and vegetable dishes, but there is an aversion left if one knows there’s an allergy. My daughter is also allergic to tree nuts, but she cannot have them in any form, raw or cooked. We learn all the time!

            1. 😀😀yup exact same reaction – itchy mouth and strange feeling in the mouth. I’ll keep an eye out for the other ingredients you mentioned incase those pop up in my daughters reactions too. Thank you for all the info!
