Oceanside Musings in Half Moon Bay & Wine Tasting in Bonny Doon, California

Hello! Happy Weekend! Fall getaways are fabulous time to get out in nature. Whether it be for viewing fall leaves, a stroll on the beach, or a walk in the neighborhood. With our cooler Autumn temperatures this really is a wonderful time to soak in Mother Nature.

Relaxing in Half Moon Bay

After days of hot weather our temps cooled down this week. Perfect Fall like weather to head to the coast, go on a hike, or just get out in nature. That’s what we did when we headed to the coastal town of Half Moon Bay recently for a quick one day stay, followed by a long drive on the coast, with a little detour to a tiny town called Bonny Doon for wine tasting.

Quick Detour for Wine Tasting in Bonny Doon

Beauregard winery in the tiny town of Bonny Doon is the only winery here. The town of Bonny Doon off Hwy. 1 is so tiny that we were parked at the cross roads of their two major streets. We are talking small small town here with a fire station, a grocery store and a winery. Wine was outstanding and wine tasting among the redwoods absolutely meditative!

Happy weekend everyone! Happy October!
